Semester-by-Semester Plan

You can earn an MS degree in computer engineering in four semesters. An example course selection plan following the MSCE project track is shown below. It includes one 600-level CSCE course and one graduate course outside the department in the fourth semester. To convert this to a thesis track, substitute thesis classes for the project classes and drop one of the optional 500-level classes. Only one of the advanced topic or out-of-department courses listed in the fourth semester need be taken to obtain the required hours needed to graduate. The two classes are shown to illustrate different options for the student (advanced class or out-of-department class).
